Tally is the most beautiful, good-natured cat I’ve ever known, and I don’t know what I’d do without her since we adopted her last October. I love Ursula’s cat books, which obviously spring from a deep love for the creatures. In fact I love all her books, and Always Coming Home — my personal favourite — has haunted me for at least fifteen years.
